At 9:03am this morning Becky Larson has gone home to be with the Lord.

We have prayed for several hours and continue to believe for resurrection power.We are at peace that Becky has chosen to stay with her Father God. We trust the Lord and though we are at peace we cannot help be feel that the world has lost a great saint.

Hebrews 11:13 "All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth. 14People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. 15If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. 16Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them ... 38the world was not worthy of them."

It has been a tough few days. Mom is currently unresponsive except for the occasionally hand squeeze or eyebrow/facial movement. She is fighting hard and strong! During one of the most difficult times today we all gathered in her room (there is 6 of us on round the clock watch in the room with her 2 at a time) she tried very very hard to speak but could not. It's been very emotional to watch her battle so hard. She is still with us and she is NOT going home yet! Amen! Her last conversations with us she said she knew she was going to Live and that she was Not Ready to Go Home! Her faith is strong!

The good news is that the doctors have been saying since Fri that she has become septic and is loosing the battle to an infection. Well the blood cultures came back today clear! NO INFECTION EVER! We knew we had beaten it before it started in prayer but it was nice to see the report.

The doctors had stopped all treatment and IV nutrition because of the "infection" that isn't there. We hope to get her back on nutrition tomorrow.

The issue now is that according to the doctors the tumor itself is taking over her systems and causing her coma like state! How demonic!

We are in full faith for a miracle. We have all been getting separate confirmations individually of God's will for Becky to live. This evening as I was sitting with my mother praying I very clearly heard the Lord say "It is done, I have decreed in Becky's Favor! She will live and not die" Then the Lord said as if he know I was going to ask "I will give you a sign". This was heard in my spirit as plan as day! Not less than 30min later we found out the systemic bacterial infection killing her according to the doctors didn't even exist! No infection in her blood! My sign just like I was promised! Praise God!

1. Pray that Becky's Spirit would be strengthen by the Holy Spirit to regain control of her body.
2. Pray that any issue giving the tumor access to Becky's body would be exposed and dealt with. 3. Pray that the tumor/cancer would be cutoff from Becky's body and destroyed.
4. Pray that Becky's immune system would see the cancer/tumor and attack it and destroy it totally!
4. Pray for the doctors and nurses. At this point it is up to God to "confound the wise" and show himself mighty on Becky's behalf.
5. Pray for Ray and the rest of us. We grow weary of the battle and our emotions and fatigue are hard to process.
6. Pray for Wisdom about how to move forward. The doctors are of no help at this point.

Let us all come into agreement with the decree from heaven that Becky will LIVE AND NOT DIE! Let us decree that her body and the tumor/cancer would submit now to that decree. Let's agree that God's Justice which is Mercy & Life for Becky would be evident in her body.

Sunday Praise Report

Becky is still Standing!

Her blood pressure has come back strong and in the words of her night nurse "she is holding on strong". It also appears as though her bowels may be beginning to function again. PRAISE GOD!

She is very very weak but slept well overnight and was more alert when she did wake up then she had been prior to last night,

About a week ago we had a word that Becky was being elevated above the "muddy waters" of the circumstances and the journey (ie the stress, the doctors, the family issues, etc) and that the Lord was insulating her. We are praying that as she is sort of out of it that the Lord would be ministering to her and keeping her in the shadow of his healing wings as her body is being healed. We war on her behalf as she is insulated and guarded by the Father God! Amen!

We need to see the tide turn today in her body! Amen!

Pray with us that every attack that the enemy would bring against her life would be cut off and nullified!
Pray that she would be strengthened in her innermost being and in her body!
Pray that NEW LIFE would come forth in her body!
Pray that every cell in her body would be activated by the Holy Spirit and that every bodily system will be blessed with new life and strength!
Pray against the constant word curses and negative comments made by the nurses and doctors about her prospects.
Pray that they would stop trying to sedate her unnecessarily. They tried to give her a slurry drugs with near deadly side effects when combined as part of their process last night. They came in with a fist full of drugs including an antipsychotic! Which I very politely declined! :)

Even in her weakened state she still is determined to live and is fully aware that it is not her time.

Let us rally around her in these pivotal moments and see this through to victory for Becky!

I pray a blessing over each and every prayer warrior joining with us to surround Becky with prayer and faith,. Lord, may you meet with them and fellowship with them in a new way. Release a greater measure of faith into their hearts right now Lord. May they gain new insight and strategies for their own lives as they war for Becky!

Please pray for our ability to see clearly into the situation.

Her swelling is reduced to only 20%-30% over normal which is awesome! Her abdomen is much much less enlarged and is really looking better.

However, she is on the edge. Members of our house church came and we prayed and worshiped with the guitar in her room for about 3hrs.

She is doing better now, somewhat more vocal and aware. Still very very weak but doing better!

She wants to Live and She will!

Things have taken a dramatic turn. Since last night Becky's condition has deteriorated. Last night she developed an infection and high fever. Her sister, sister in law, close friend and dad stayed through the night and broke off the fever through prayer. Then at around noon today her vitals dropped and she became completely unresponsive. Her pulse was too low to detect and her blood pressure was below life levels. The prayer team was in the room as the doctors and nurse scrambled around and through prayer her called life back and her vitals normalized.

She stands at the precipice. Her words are barely there but she "its not my time".

Now is the time for a prayer surge! Let us repel the spirit of death once and for all!.

Request for Special Prayer from Ray on Friday Night

Please be praying extra hard this evening. Ray just called and is very concerned about my mother as she has been very very sedate today and is not talking much. She's just in a daze. Obviously, the meds will have that effect on her but they have been cutting those back and shouldn't have such a profound effect on her today.

Please make a special effort to pray for my dad as well this evening. The journey is taking it's tool on him especially hard today and he is feeling very pressed from all sides.

Let's back them up tonight in prayer!

It has been an interesting couple of days, a real roller coaster of emotions and news.

The good news is that my mother is in the best place spiritual and emotionally she has been since her journey with cancer started in Oct 07. In fact I would say that yesterday she was the "strong one" in the family!

Yesterday, was perhaps the most difficult day from a logistics point. After a great time of prayer with several groups of mighty prayer warriors from all over who have been coming out to pray with my mom the warfare increased but not with my mother or her body! The hospital staff pulled some antics if you will in what I believe was an attempt by the enemy to derail her recovery. They hospital has been working to get us to take her home by building a case that it's in her best interest. So they sent the hospice people to speak with us about making arrangement to take her home, what they didn't tell us till the end of the conversation is that if hospice gets involved they would stop all treatment. Which is of course not acceptable to my mom or to us. They then suggested that people in my mother's condition really want to die and that she is just being strong for us and that they would need to speak with her privately without us. At first this seemed fairly innocent and the social work just went in to ask my mom what she wanted which she of course said to "Live and not Die" and to continue with aggressive treatment. However, the social worker called in one of the 1st year residents who forcibly pushed me out of the room and blocked the door with her body! All while my mother was calling for me or my dad from the room! It was perhaps the most infuriating moment I have ever experienced! I immediately shouted down the hall way to my dad at the top of my lungs which created quite a stir and my dad barged into the room and was able to intervene as the doctor attempt to manipulate the situation by telling my mother they had cancelled chemo (a lie) and that her latest conditions meant the end was close, only days away. ALL LIES! LITERAL LIES! The devil is using everything he can because he knows he has lost!

Anyway, this was a huge emotional setback for the family but my mother wasn't even phased! She just said "I don't care what they say, I know I am going to live and not die!".

As the day progressed we were all very discouraged, BUT GOD!

They have been physically pumping my mother's stomach with a GT Tube to relive the pressure however so much stuff has been coming out they have been unable to keep up. The resident who came in with the social worker told us that this meant her bowels were so bad they were backing into the small intestine and stomach and that this was part of the end. Well! That's by no means what her doctor said when he came in later that evening! He was visibly surprised and encouraged by the amount of material that was coming out, he said "This means the bowel is decompressing, let's double our efforts"! So they immediately added an NG Tube to start a second pump. Without being too graphic it appears that they are actually pumping the impacted waste out!

Her doctor came in this morning and said "Chemo will go on today" and that he could not explain why so much was being pumped out except that the bowels are possibly being cleared!!! PRAISE GOD! My mother's abdomen is less turgid and less swollen and her pain is managed! Though her doctor remains very cautious about appearing optimistic it is getting harder for him after the last two days. :)

So we are very optimistic and encouraged and expect each day to see a completion of her healing!

Last night as our house church prayed for several hours, I listen on my phone on the drive home from the hospital and the Spirit of the Lord quickened me that:

"The devil had meant this to be a counterfeit pregnancy to birth death in Becky but that the Lord has decreed that this counterfeit pregnancy has been Aborted! And in its place the Lord is bringing forth NEW LIFE for Becky and for Ray and for Their Ministry!"

1. Agree and Decree with me right now that this counterfeit pregnancy of death is Aborted in Jesus Name!
2. Call forth NEW LIFE in my mother's body! NEW LIFE for her ministry and NEW LIFE for my parents together!
3. Pray that every effort by the enemy to derail her healing would be cut off and cast aside.
4. Bless the Hospital Staff who are just running through the motions!
5. Praise God! Praise is our super effective, super natural weapon! It's the most powerful tool in our arsenal! The Battle is the Lord's and we declare that fact as we Praise Him through this journey!

Just a quick update I won't be long I promise.

The good news is the edema and water retention is diminishing, slowly but quite noticeably.I would say a 25%-35% improvement from Sunday. Praise God! Also, she was not as fearful or anxious during the morning hours though that was relative to last nights own difficulties.

We had a very very difficult night last night. The doctors changed her pain protocol in a misguided attempt to get her ready to go home and totally lost control of the pain. It was about 10-12hrs of agony for my mother as they tried desperately throughout the night to come up with a better approach. It wasn't till almost 7am when her doctor came in for an update & approved her returning to her previous routine that things started getting better.

Though we are not fans of pain meds for a variety of reasons there was simply no other way for Becky to get relief. It was hard to see her both in pain and drugged without any constant relief.

1. Please pray today for Pain Relief and safety from all the medications they have been giving her.
2. Pray against side effects and contradictions between the medications as well as closing any open doors created through the effects of heavy medication.
3. Please pray as this was very traumatic for Becky, myself (it was my turn to stay with her), and of course my dad. It is starting to wear on him almost as much as my mother.

As I prayed throughout the night I felt as though we are nearing a breakthrough. The sweet presence of the Lord and His Word was a comfort throughout the night.

Romans 5:1-5 "1Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. 3Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us."

Becky continues to STAND and is improving daily! Supported by all of our prayers and her utmost trust in God that this is not the end for her!

Though her most concerning issues have not changed during the past few days we do have some good praise reports to share.

My mother has severe edema (swelling) and water retention throughout her body especially in her abdomen and legs. It has become so dramatic that we became very very concerned late last night. The doctors and nurses all just said "This is part of the end" and "There is nothing we can do her body is shutting down due to advanced ovarian cancer". Well, that's not what God has to about it. We had to get quite persistent and literally demand they do some additional diagnostics and make an effort to treat this new symptom. We were finally able to get them to do a sonogram this morning to see if the fluid could be at least drained off to make Becky more comfortable.

Well, they did the the sonogram and were able to determine that the fluid is not pooling in her abdomen which is what one would expect for her condition but was in fact held in the tissues throughout her body. Upon viewing this the doctor said "Well this can happen when the liver shuts down and renal failure begins" BUT GOD! When the doctor went and checked her liver and kidney function she came back and said "Nope, liver function has improved and is almost normal and kidney function is good too!" PRAISE GOD!

So the retained fluids and edema is a result of her condition prior to being admitted and prior to having the liver/gallbladder stents put in. When admitted two weeks ago her liver was falling and she was severely malnutrition after not being able to keep food down for quite some time. Per normal hospital practice and the need for additional fluids for the chemo they have been hyper hydrating her and her Liver is just now getting back to normal after surgery and just hasn't been able to keep up. So, as of late last night they cut back her fluids, stopped some steroids they were giving her for no apparent reason, and now we should see the edema decrease with each day.

So to recap:

PRAISE GOD THAT!

1. Liver and Kidneys are functioning at or close to normal levels and are improving!
2. No Renal Failure, Minimal Ascites (pooling fluid typical with advanced ovarian cancer)!
3. Her strength is returning daily!

PRAYER REQUESTS

1. Morning Watch: Whether due to hormonal or chemical shifts in the body or medication or lack of consistent sleep my mother's mornings are the most difficult. Particularly, from 4-8 but it usually starts during the Morning Watch which is 3am-6am. She struggles with fear and anxiety about her journey and is tormented daily by the enemy trying to get her to give up during these hours. Then by about 10ish she is back to fighting and standing strong and that carries her through the day. Remember, she wants to live and not die!

I would like to ask for some of your to pray about taking time out of your day/night to prayer for her during the 3am-6am CST time. We need to cut off this attack before it starts. Pray against fear, anxiety, tormenting spirits, a spirit of accusation, and most importantly for Peace and Strength!

2. The Bowels to be Unobstructed: Remember that from a medical standpoint her bowels could burst at any moment and they could not operate to save her. Each day make this more likely so we need bowels to be released and unobstructed by the pressure from the tumor.

3. Pray for Healing: Pray that the tumor and all cancer cells will die!

4. Pray for Strength for Becky and Ray!

5. Pray for more Favor with the Doctors. The Doctors are very much used to a routine for someone with Becky's condition and so we keep fighting with a prevailing approach to her treatment that is basically "make her comfortable so she can die in peace". Well that's not where any of us are at, least of all my mother. She is very exited about the future and all that it holds for her on Earth! She is walking, talking, signing and praising God daily! Just because her bowels could rupture doesn't mean she is just going to go home and let the morphine and antidepressants they keep offering her space her out until she dies. Honestly, sometimes I feel like some of the hospital staff operates like Job's wife! "Just curse God and die already!" Well, that's not going to happen! Amen!

We have seen God's hand at work. Dr. Mutch is one of the foremost doctors dealing with Ovarian Cancer in the USA, but he has written mom off for the most part. While my dad was speaking in Fl over the past weekend someone at that church gave him the number of a preeminent doctor in New York who was a personal friend. That doctor then gave my dad the personal cell phone to a Dr. Herzog who runs the GYN Oncology Center at New York-Presbyterian Hospital and Columbia University. Dad called the cell phone and Dr. Herzog's assistant called him out of surgery to speak with my dad. He said "if you have this number than you are important enough to speak with at anytime" he agreed to review my mother's charts and make a recommendation. On Tuesday evening I forwarded her records to Dr. Herzog. We waited not expecting anything right away since it was late in the evening when I sent the fax.

The next day Dr. Mutch came in and made a new recommendation, start feeding via IV and start radical chemo in an attempt to shrink the tumor in order to release the bowels or allow for surgery. This is a major change from the day before on Tuesday when Dr. Mutch basically said go and wait to for the end.

We found out later that Dr. Herzog used to have Dr. Mutch's job her in St Louis before taking the job in New York. He called Dr. Mutch late Tuesday or first thing Wed and told him to keep trying and it was Dr. Herzog who put forth the plan of Chemo and IV Nutrition. Praise God! Even the nurses have said repeatedly they have never gone this far for someone in my moms condition! Favor of God!

So last night Becky started two chemo drugs in an attempt to decrease the size of the tumor constricting her organs. Please pray that these drugs will:

1. Harm only the cancer/tumors and not the normal healthy cells of her body.
2. Radically and quickly shrink the tumors.
3. Protection for her organs especially her kidneys one of the chemo drugs is highly toxic to her Kidneys.

Please keep praying for her bowels they are still in a very precarious place and could burst at any point according to the doctor. We need to keep praying that they will be freed from the grip of the tumors and that the obstructions will be freed in Jesus Name.

It has been a difficult past few days. The news so far is much more dire then initially understood and though we have a plan and remain strong in our faith it has been difficult.

As of Tuesday evening there is now additional blockages in Becky's small intestines which would further hinder the doctors ability to complete the Colostomy as planned. As such they are NOT able to do the surgery anymore. This means they are not able to medically remove the obstructions and outside of a miracle Becky has a very limited amount of time left according to her doctor. He would estimate less than 3-4wks, assuming nothing escalates and her bowel does not perforate or should she become septic.

After some heavy prayer Tuesday night and into Wed we saw a change in her doctors approach. As of last night they have made a recommendation beyond the transfer to hospice and an end to treatment, which they initially recommended.

Becky is currently being setup to receive IV nutrition to allow more time for them to try radical and immediate chemo in an attempt to shrink the masses and allow for either a release of the bowels naturally or room to perform the colostomy.

We remain completely and utterly believing for a miracle. We proclaim Becky will live and not die and will fulfill the call of God on her life, as is her prayer and outlook at this point. Becky is NOT ready to die yet and feels she still has more work to do for the Lord here on earth. She is not giving up yet nor are we!

Please pray for:

1. Her Colon and Small Intestines to be free of influence from the masses (constriction) and to function properly.
2. Pray that the masses and the cancer will be gone completely.
3. Pray for peace, strength, and hope!
4. Pray that any contributing factors, physical, spiritual, or emotional will be exposed and removed!
5. Pray for New Life to arise in Becky!
6. Pray for wisdom regarding the logistics and details required for the days ahead.

Dr. Mutch, my mother's oncologist, has just briefed us at 5:30pm CST on my mother's condition. This is the first time since the middle of last week that we have received a real update and had a complete breakdown from her actual doctor as opposed to the hospital staff who have only limited information and experience.

I listened in over the phone as Dr. Mutch gave us the following update:

(This is the report is from today and supersedes all previous descriptions I or Ray have given up to this point)

1. All attempts thus far to relieve the bowel obstructions have not yielded any results.

2. A Colostomy is the only medical option according to Dr. Mutch, she is scheduled to undergo a partial resection of her colon by the end of the week, probably Thursday.

3. At this point the tumorous mass in her stomach is possibly as large as a football and is intertwined with her colon BUT by the grace and intervention of God has NOT entered any other organs as best as they can tell.

4. Due to the severe size of the the tumor and its encasement of the colon there is concern about the viability of the success of the surgery. The doctor described the tumor as being like concrete swiss cheese with only little holes that the colon is going through. They are concerned that they will not have sufficient room to attach the colon to the abdomen wall and so her Dr expressed they would do "everything they can" but can "make no promises" about their ability to successfully complete the colostomy. This is the first time anyone has said this to us or even hinted to us that there was any questions about the viability of the surgery.

5. If they cannot complete the surgery they wall have exhausted all medical solutions known to Dr. Mutch and his associates and in his words "that's it".

Of course we asked "Why not just remove the tumor" to which Dr. Mutch replied in an authoritative if not indignant tone "Not possible, it will just spread faster and more aggressively","It would be like chiseling concrete".

Of course, as we all know perhaps more often than not doctors are wrong. They have not even biopsied the growth or done anything but a CT scan. They have told us a variety of different thing over the past six days though I would say the Dr. Mutch has been consistent throughout the last week in his explanations. We know many people who where told the same things we have been told or worse only to have the surgeon open the patient up and find nothing or nothing but scar tissue or calcium or a myriad of other things.

So I ask you to continue to war with us on behalf of my mother. Let us stand in the gap for her in her time of need and in her struggle to battle emotionally, spiritually, and physically while at the same time releasing the battle to the Lord.

Now is the time to Praise and Thank Yahweh Rapha, The Lord our Healer, for the miracle he is doing in Becky's life. Conjoin your faith with ours, let us come into agreement with the sound of Heaven as the Son of Righteousness rises with healing in His Wings over Becky.

Direct your prayers towards her body, Speak and Declare that the tumor would dissolve and the bowels would flow freely and that a renewed, refired, reborn Becky Larson would arise to accomplish the Will of God for her life!

To give you a quick update, on Wed evening the doctors successfully added 2 stints to her bile ducts. Within the first 12 hrs she had a significant drop in her bile levels in the blood. Which is great, Praise God!

However, the more serious issue remains unchanged. She has 3 separate obstructions in her colon and if they cannot get the colon functioning properly they will have no choice but to remove parts or most of her colon. This would be a life altering and dramatic surgery with major consequences. It is fully unacceptable to Becky and the family. We ask that you join us in standing in the gap for a miracle!

They have given till Monday or Tuesday for the colon to function and the obstructions to be removed without surgery before making the final decision to do the colostomy or not. We must pray fervently that the surgery will not be required.

Dr. Mutch her GYN Oncologist said yesterday that they have moved from a plan to treat the cancer to treating symptoms and making her as comfortable as possible. The dilemma this presents is that they tend to not be very energetic in their approach to helping her. Especially, the hospital doctors and nurses who simply view her as a statistic, another one lost to ovarian cancer. Please pray for her Dr. and especially for the hospital staff who spend more time with her than Dr. Mutch. Pray they will give her their full attention and that we will have an opportunity to share with them the testimony of her complete and total healing.

We believe that she will be healed and though there are times that the flesh and the soul cloud the spirit with fear and doubt we remain steadfast, she remains steadfast in her belief that her healing is at hand.

Pray for Peace in her mind, relief from the pain in her abdomen, and total and complete healing throughout her body.
